Once your move date is confirmed by Good Ol Boys Moving Staff by return email... a deposit is required.
Local Moving Deposit is equal to 1 hr of moving time. If your rate is $99 per hr then the deposit will be $99
Long distance Moving Deposit is equal to 25% of the basic moving costs.
Packing services DO NOT require deposits when booked with a local or long distance move.
Packing supplies are payable upon delivery.
Storage is payable when put into storage and pro rated until the 1st of the month thereafter.
Amounts below for Box Kits and Storage Lockers - Check with Office prior to payment on Storage as there may be late fees etc.
Cancellation Policy
From time to time customers plans change.
Local Moving ( Moves done by hourly rate ): Local Move Deposits can almost always be transferred to another date providing you are not rescheduling the evening before or on the morning of the move when we have already have staff called in to do your move. We unfortunately have to pay staff to come in and the deposit would go towards there pay. The move would be subject to theminimum quoted if staff are called in. Always make sure to call by 3:00 pm the day before. Before 7 days the move there is a $50 cancellation fee but here is no refund if cancelled 7 days or less other than a full credit towards another date to move on. If cancelled 16 hours or less prior to the move there is no cancellation plus there would be fees applicable to cover staff wages as they would have been called in.( usually the minimum that you were quoted would be charged)
Out of province ( Moves done by weight ) There is a $250 cancellation fee up to 10 days before the move or if date is rescheduled the full deposit is applied towards the new date, 10-2 days prior to the move the move can be rescheduled and the deposit will be applied towards the move 10 days or less if the move is cancelled no refund is given.. If cancellation is 2 days or less additonal fees may apply above and beyond the deposit to cover the costs of scheduling crew or if crews have driven out of the way to get to your location etc.
